Correspondence, drafts, and printed material for 'The Public Eye' and 'The Private Ear'. These one-act plays premiered on 10 May 1962 at the Globe Theatre, London. Shaffer adapted 'The Public Eye' as a screenplay, and the film was released in 1972 as 'Follow Me!' in the UK and 'The Public Eye' in the US. The 'The Public Eye' and 'Black Comedy' were later performed together under the name 'Light Comedies' in 1984. The playscripts for 'The Public Eye' and 'The Private Ear' (initially titled 'The Musical Offering'), the screenplay for 'The Public Eye', and the playscript of 'Light Comedies' are all present.
