        Established in 1854 by Elizabeth M. M. Gilbert as a charitable organization providing employment and training to blind and disabled people. Queen Victoria became the charity's patron in 1859. Later rebranded as CLARITY – Employment for Blind People. Went into liquidation in 2022.
