History
Christopher Felix Budgett was born on 25 January 1901 at Templemead, Bromley, the son of Thomas Mortimer Budgett, a timber merchant, and his wife Annie, née Pethick (see the Sussex Agricultural Express, 1 Feb. 1901, p. 4). His mother was the sister of Emmeline (later Lady) Pethick-Lawrence, the suffragette.
He married Evelyn V. Densham at St George, Hanover Square, in 1925.
He emigrated to New Zealand in 1959, and died there, at Whangarei, in 1988.
