Archival history

The papers were originally an editing project of James Henry Monk, Bishop of Gloucester and Bristol, who gave the project papers to John Wordsworth. On his death John Wordsworth's papers passed to Christopher Wordsworth. They were given to J. Edleston by Christopher Wordsworth.
