Thanks Sidgwick for letting him keep the volumes of Arabian Nights, and expresses desire to collect the remainder as soon as possible. Hopes that Sidgwick will find time 'to see the papyrus and tablets.' Informs him that the Treasury has given him a gratuity of £150 for his services on the first mission to Egypt, and the second to Egypt and Bagdad [sic].
