        Historique

        Second son of Basil Feilding, 6th Earl of Denbigh and Mary Cotton Feilding, born in 1761. He published a poem dedicated to his brother titled The Brothers, an Ecologue in 1781. In 1779, after James Donally attempted to blackmail him by accusing him of sexual assault, Feilding in turn accused Donally of highway robbery, for which he was found guilty.
