Observes that this 'other [ ]' justifies them in asking 'Mrs S.' to give them firsthand evidence 'for this very important point of the story', but leaves the matter up to Myers. Reports that he is in Shrewsbury 'endeavouring "[ ] [ ]" between Hughes and C.C.M.', and announces that the following day he goes to Mrs [Burton]. States that he shall be at Southport on Thursday morning to receive Mrs Hargreave's narrative, and hopes to meet Myers at the Council on Friday.
