Scope and content

Apologises for the delay in replying to her query. States that he is having copies of all the papers [of] Henry Sidgwick's contributions to the Spectator sent off to her that day. Encloses a list of the articles [included: 75/2]. Explains that their records only begin in 1870, and that before that date they have no means of identifying writers, but suggests that she may have 'points in letters and diaries which would enable [her] to trace articles in the Sixties.' If so, offers to put 'the bound volumes' at her disposal.
