Scope and content

The Acland Nursing Home, Oxford. - Thinks that they will arrive on Friday; not totally sure what the doctor will say but will wire if it is not all right. [His wife's illness] is 'all a case of ups & downs with nothing to account for it but fatigue', but since the '"downs" take the form of dread of something serious the matter' the doctor will make sure. The nursing home 'excellent', but nursing homes 'have the wrong associations'. Finished Act II [of "The Bride of Dionysus"] yesterday.
