Scope and content
The Cloisters, Windsor Castle. - Is getting on well with the Nereids now [in Act I of "The Bride of Dionysus"] but the 'Minotaur and the Labyrinth simply won't combine' with them and the 'army is grumbling for lack of occupation', so asks for a speech of Midas to be recast; would appreciate it if Trevelyan could bring the reworked section to the concert on Friday. May get to the end of the act by then, but doesn't think it likely, but the 'foam-wanderer' chorus has not come out well; also reminds Trevelyan that he hasn't yet put the improvement's to Ariadne's speech at the beginning of the Labyrinth.

Pencil annotation dating the letter to 1909, but internal evidence perhaps indicates late 1908.
