Scope and content

West Hackhurst, Abinger Hammer, Dorking. - Has written an introduction to a novel ["Untouchable", by Mulk Raj Anand] and encloses two versions: the first is preferred by the author, publisher, and Forster himself, but makes reference to Major Lugard's copy of "A Passage To India", which he learned about from the Trevelyans so asks if there are any objections to him using it. The book pleases him. Asks if she is going to the Landowners' Meeting at Dorking: he probably is. Hope she enjoyed Micky.
