Postmarked Amsterdam. - Is enjoying himself, though rain spoilt the expedition to the Hague yesterday. Has made a tour of the canals as she recommended, and Marken 'much nicer & breezier' than expected. Will try the 'Poortvan Kleef' [sic: Hotel Port van Cleve] tonight, and is returning to England tomorrow. Now is going to walk in the Vondel's Park [Vondelpark].
