Dear Miss Stanley
I meant to ask you yesterday whether you would like to join my Budget dinner on Thursday {1} or will you be too tired after “masking”.
Thank you very much for yesterday. I did talk a fearful amount of rubbish but I was well repaid by the interest of watching its effect on you!
