W. - Asks if the servant about whom Houghton wrote to Monsieur Van de Weyer has good enough French to be useful travelling, and if so, and he is still looking for a place, whether he would take a temporary engagement of a few weeksto go with the Van de Weyers to Belgium. 'Not one of ours understands French, and we must have someone who wd valet Msr V. de W and take our tickets , see after our Luggage &c &c'. Adds postscript: asks if the servant would object to acting as courier and going on the carriage to Brussels.
