The British Academy, Burlington Gardens, W.1.—Thanks him for his letter [stating the intended subject of his British Academy Shakespeare Lecture]. There has been no previous lecture on the subject of the treatment of his text by his earliest editors, the nearest being Pollard’s on the materials at the disposal of the editors of the First Folio. The wording of the title need not be settled till the invitations go out in April.
