Robin Ghyll, 'as from' The Master's Lodge, Trinity College, Cambridge. - He and Janet 'delighted' to get Bessie's letter about the 'happy event', which only reached them this morning; 'very, very glad' that Bob and Bessie have a grandson [Philip], after the 'cruel' losses they themselves had [the miscarriages and deaths of their other children]; encloses something to be sent on to Julian. Says in a postscript that the younger generation of the 'old Wallington family is filling up'.
