14 Little Tower Street, E. C., London. - At Lady Galway's request a case, well packed, is being sent to Houghton by a G.N.R. goods train, containing three dozen 'superior Budenthal @24, and at top of case Sample Bottle, Gin (Old Tom) (addressed Miss Louisa Milnes'. The hock is a 'remarkably good wine, vintage 1868 quoted at old prices, but we fear that we shall have to pay more to our friends on fresh importations.' Encloses a list of prices, and describes another claret added since the list was produced.
