Scope and content

Hopes to come up by the train he mentioned. Mrs [Penelope] Wheeler thinks that the shrine [in the scenery for Bob's play "Meleager"] is 'a little too much thrown back from the stage, in perspective' and wonders if Julian could make it 'seem a little nearer'. Bob himself does not think it matters much, but if Julian could do this it would be good; no need to worry if he has already painted it. Is going to Oxford today and will find out when the scenery should arrive there, and when it would be best for Julian to come. Wants to go back to London by an 'early breakfast train' on Wednesday.
