Humphrey Searle is 'one of the "Wrong note" young men' whose music Vaughan Williams does not understand, but is 'well thought of by many people'. Asked Miss Cullen [secretary of the Leith Hill Music Festival] about tickets for the 11th, very sorry that there are none left.
