Scope and content

Northlands, Englefield Green, Surrey. - Is sorry for the inconvenience Donald [Tovey]'s illness and resulting delay in his visit to the Trevelyans has caused; his throat is now quite well and his 'internal chill' will be tomorrow; he must eat simple things, only take the Sanatogen once a day, get regular exercise and plenty of sleep. Asks Bessie to let her know how he is; he has been 'like a caged tiger' wanting to get away. She will leave when he does tomorrow, spend a night at Dover then cross to Paris on Tuesday, then go to Nauheim.
