Bishopsthorpe, York; with envelope addressed to Milnes at Fryston Hall, Ferrybridge. - Was sorry to hear of the death of Milnes' father from the newspapers. Will 'send orders to Mr Gray of York to proceed in the matter of renewal, as the law now stands'; Gray will communicate with Milnes; Musgrave 'really [does] not know exactly what the law is as to leases on lives. Mr Gray shall inform both you & me'.
