On one side is written: ‘No 1 Choral Prelude on “Rock of Ages” is not here. Was this possibly the one printed by you in 1925—Choral Preludes No 1. The first one is on Rock of Ages.’ (‘here’ apparently means ‘in the folder Add. MS a. 801/13). Below this is has been added ‘Yes | S & B’ in a different hand, presumably that of an employee of Stainer & Bell, and on the other side is ‘Choral Prelude Rock of Ages | published by S & B.’ in the first hand.
