Historique
Millar had become Assistant Secretary of the British and Foreign School Society by 1816 (Morning Post, 27 Sept. 1816, p. 4).
In 1818 he was living in Queen Street, Bloomsbury. Between 1821 and 1825 he was living at 21 Museum Street, in London.
In 1828 he is listed as Secretary of a number of educational and other philanthropic societies, namely the British and Foreign School Society, the Committee for Persian Education, the Bloomsbury and Pancras School Society, and the Asylum for Scrofula (Trades' Free Press, 30 Aug. 1828, p. 8).
He was still alive in 1830 (Trades' Free Press, 3 July 1830, p. 1).
