Many of the sheets used by Wordsworth for notes were previously used for letters (some in Latin) to Wordsworth, and for verse compositions and theological compositions in other hands. Names appearing: James Frederick Todd (f. 15v); Henry William Herbert (f. 16v); Granville Edward Harcourt Vernon (f. 22v); Bourchier Wrey Savile (f. 88r); William Powell Munsy (f. 89r); Samuel Nicholson Kingdon (f. 92r); John Cooper (f. 94r). Several letters dated 1826.
Letter from William Whewell to Wordsworth, 5 Mar. 1841, at f [i]; another, 14 Mar. 1841, at f. [ii] and f. [ix]. Both are concerned with revision of the statutes of Trinity College.
