Historique
From 1827 to 1828 Patrick was one of the Directors of the Mining Company of Ireland (see the Company's Reports for those years.
In 1831 Patrick and Thomas Heney were trading in partnership as merchants in Dublin, under the name of Patrick and Heney (Reports of Cases argued and determined in the Court of Exchequer in Ireland from Hilary term, 10 and 11 Geo. IV to Easter term, 2 Will. IV (1837) p. 322).
Patrick was buried on 29 May 1840 in All Souls Cemetery, Kensal Green. The burial register records that at the time of his death he was aged 52 and that his residences were Woolwich, Kent, and Blacklands House, Chelsea.
