Postmarked Egham. - In Phaedra's scene [on Naxos, in "The Bride of Dionysus"], he would like to restore two rejected lines which are 'well-set' in his sketch; may also want 'the old reiterative form' of her chant calling Theseus hither. Asks if he may retain a line in her speech in the cave.
