Scope and content
Trinity College, Cambridge, sent to Boas at 4767 Duke Station, Durham, N. C. - Thanks Boas for the book, and 'Mr Coombs for his friendly inscription' [the book is probably Baseball: Individual Play and Team Strategy, by John Wesley Coombs (1939)]; says he tries 'to solve one problem a day', and gives an example.
