Postcard. Genoa; addressed to Lady Trevelyan, 8 Grosvenor Crescent, London:- Thursday., 12 AM. Arrived safely last night with all luggage; is going straight to Pisa, which he will reach at 4 PM, then on to Rome by the night train, and should arrive at Naples by 2 PM tomorrow. The ‘plain of Lombardy was covered with snow’, but it is quite warm here, ‘like summer in England’. Will write more when he reaches Naples.
