Berenson, I Tatti, Settignano, Florence. - Bessie's letter of 8 April has just arrived; very sorry to hear about her 'catarrh', and hopes it has gone by now. The posts take a very long time; was getting worried about not hearing from her. Julian is not very well; his 'liver sems out of order', but he is 'seeing a good Florentine doctor'. He is travelling with Bob to Paris. Hopes she, like them', has 'perfect' weather. Will ring Bessie up when he arrives in London on Monday evening.
