The poster advertises the May Ball to be held on 13 June 1955, featuring Nat Temple and his Augmented Orchestra under the Wren Library, with ticket information at bottom and applications to C. S. Gladstone. Printed by Metcalfe & Co. Ltd., Cambridge on cream paper with black lettering. Poster has marks in pencil and ink showing it was used to create a poster for 1957.
