Announcement that a society has been constituted to promote the idea of cremation as an alternative to the burial of the dead. Requests that those who desire to join, or to aid in any way to promote the society's objects, to send their names to the Secretary, W. Eassie in London, and adds that donations are solicited, 'and may be paid either to the Secretary, or to the account of the Society at Sir Samuel Scott, Bart., and Co., Bankers, 1 Cavendish Square, W.'
