Refers to the Methods of Ethics as 'one of the formative books' for him when reading for his fellowship, but that when he came to know Henry personally 'gratitude to the author became changed into respect for one so exceptionally kind and generous, and so fair in thought and wide in sympathy.' Is sure that Nora will find the strength to bear the loss, which, he expects, must be very heavy,
