Simpson, Tom Thorp (1877-1901) Second Lieutenant

Born 19 May 1877, son of Walter Samuel and Emma Thorp. School, Lancing College. Caius, Cambridge, matriculated Michaelmas 1895. Second Lieut., 1st Batt., Shropshire Light Infantry, 1899. Served in the South African war, 1899-1901, died of dysentery, Apr. 30, 1901 at Schoemanskloof.
