Archival history
There is no formal record of the provenance of these documents, but they were presumably all among the large quantity of books and papers formerly belonging to Aldis Wright which came into the Library shortly after his death. The items were brought together by Library staff from various places over a period of time and put into a box file marked ‘W. Aldis Wright | Philological’.
