One end of the book begins with school notes on Trigonometry, and includes Thomson's school time table for the summer term, 1909, and some loose pages of chemistry notes. These are followed by much later notes and calculations, which take up most of the rest of the book, starting from both ends, and occasionally interleaved with other material.
