Scope and content

Expresses his sympathy with Nora on the death of Henry Sidgwick. Declares how much of what Cambridge means and how much of what philosophy and reflection mean for so many has now gone with him. Refers to his [results], his impressive manner and his noble sincerity. Adds that some work of his own at present 'just passing through the press loses a distinct weight of interest' to himself that he cannot look forward to sending Henry a copy and having some expression of his opinion on it. Also sends an expression of his wife's sympathy with Nora.
