Supposing that I should write on optics 2. that I should write in the Edinburgh'. Points out that he has spelled Caesar's name wrong in one of the marginal notes ('Hast though appealed unto Caesar, &c'): 'when an experimental geometer appeals to his geometry it is to "See, sir!" not to Caesar'. Also points out a di/de typographic error: '(never say di) if I ever met a Di Morgan I dare say I shall learn something about it.'
