Papers relating to a burglary at Cossington rectory, then the home of Rev. John Babington and his wife Maria in the spring of 1845, in which rents just collected from the Rothley and Cossington estates by the agent, T. Smith Woolley were stolen in a hold-up. Mainly letters from members of the family; also three cuttings from the local press.
