He has called a meeting of Council to obtain their approval, and has informed the Governors of the deputation and the suggested course to be taken. Gandhi has agreed to attend the conference, but has not yet replied about the Prince’s visit. Reading wishes to obtain the British Government’s approval of his intended action.
