Includes correspondence from I. McClelland re the death of her husband Professor J.A. McClelland, 13 April 1920. J.A. McClelland worked at the Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge when J. J. Thomson was Professor. He later accepted the Chair of Experimental Physics at University College, Dublin.

Also includes an invitation for Lady Thomson to attend a ball given by the First and Third Trinity Boat Clubs held 14 June 1920.
