Manuscript label headed "Dr Taylor's Marmor Sandvicense" carrying information about the Sandwich Marble, with additional information about the stele on the verso. The Sandwich Marble is the upper portion of a stele from Athens inscribed on both sides with accounts of the administrators of the sanctuary of Apollo on Delos in 377/6-374/3 BCE. It was removed from Greece by the Fourth Earl Sandwich and given to Trinity College Cambridge where it was placed in the entrance to the Wren Library. In 1969 the marble was transferred on loan to The Fitzwilliam Museum.
