Scope and content

Says he received Henry Sidgwick: a Memoir that day and has 'done nothing since but read it'. States that all the early part, including the 'undergraduate and early BA days' is vivid to him. Refers affectionately to Henry's friendship and to his 'loving tolerance'. States that he would like to write to her again when he has read more of the book, for which he thanks her, and that he does not want his old letters back. Wishes that there were more of them, as then he would have had more from Henry.
