Scope and content

Concerned with WW's inconsistency over the solar system in his 'Astronomy and General Physics...in relation to Nat. Theology' - especially as WW infers design from stability. If system stable what is the condition on which this depends? Newton does not address this. It took Lagrange and Laplace to show that it was stable. WW refutes this doctrine - velocity of planets changes over time due to the resisting medium. Eventually the Earth will stop moving. The anonymous writer wants both doctrines reconciled.
