Scope and content
Welcombe, Stratford on Avon. - Has just received Bessie's letter; very disappointed that she cannot come yet; fears it will not be as pleasant for her in London, where they will go around the 21st, but she will be welcome whenever she can come. A 'wonderful thing to think of Robert paying calls'; shows Bessie has a great influence over him; asks her to tell him to come and see them as soon as he returns from the Hague as she and his father want to see him and discuss things very much. Hopes her aunt will continue to get better.
