Scope and content

2 Garrick's Villa, Hampton-on-Thames. - Has been ill and not able to read, but yesterday and today has been enjoying "The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes" which is a step upwards. Asks if Trevelyan has tried Bessie with one of Wells' 'better fantasias' like "The War of the Worlds" or "The Invisible Man", which might amuse them both. Is glad Trevelyan is getting on with Montaigne.
