      The Reform Club
      July 24th 1911.

      Dear Miss Stanley

Thank you so much for the half hour tonight. As always I enjoyed you much.

But its because I am conscious that you (who are so soon leaving this beastly city) are in London tomorrow that I am making an effort to see you once more.

Will you come to tea tomorrow in my room at the H. of C. If you telephone tomorrow morning to the India Office (or ask your man to) I will ask to meet you anybody you like! If fine will adjourn to the Terrace! DO and dont think me greedy

      Yrs
      Edwin S. Montagu
