The Reform Club

My dearest Venetia
Never did my plans so badly boggle my desires.
There isnt a train that I can see at all. So I cant get to Vinters.
The thought of you really wanting me is very distressful and I’d cut only I cant.
Last year and for many years this man […] has helped me […] and I promised him as a reward now that he asks it to preach Liberalism when he wanted. The hall is booked and I am taking two people from Cambridge with me.
I cant ask to see you Monday because I know your† going to soak in endless music.
But I’d like to see you Tuesday at about five if I may?
I did enjoy last night. Its a wonderful play and I think except for rather bad acting in the last seen† of the lot the jealousy scene well done. And I like beautiful dresses and […] scenery!
And I found you mellow with a spiky interlude or two at dinner! while I think I plead justly to having deserved
Yrs ever {1}
Edwin S. Montagu
I do hope Vinters will not be so bad as you think. Its just like you not to cut
