Scope and content

Carlton Chambers, Regent St. - The mode of petition is the least expensive course. FJF requires the petition served upon WW, a copy of the former statutes, the present statutes, and the original letters of Charles II: also a statement from WW to show that the Professors have always to the present time retained their Fellowships, and that their financial reward has always been low compared to their labours. And finally, that 'the letter of Charles II has always been considered as a University and not a College Law or Statute and consequently that upon framing the new Statute that one relating to it was left intact'.
