Carlton Chambers, Regent St. - FJF has carefully considered WW's statement on the 41st Caput of the Statutes of Trinity College with regard to the Greek Professor retaining his Fellowship. He has read the Caput, the letters of Charles the 2nd and the preamble of the Statutes and concludes: 'were the College now going to get that Caput revised and a new statute granted by the Crown in lieu of it I think that they might fairly and properly allow the Professor to retain his Fellowship during the interval'.
