Scope and content

2, Cheyne Gardens, S.W. - Encloses a letter from Rawnsley [13/230]; does not need it returned. Rawnsley thinks there is 'no immediate danger' [of a road being built over Sty Head Pass], and George will not write to the newspapers 'till and unless there is'. Differs from Rawnsley in believing that the Wrynose [Pass] is 'a proper and legitimate old roadway' which should not have gone out of use and could be restored; Sty Head is 'totally different.
